What’s the best brewing temperature for coffee?

Ideal temperature for brewing coffee.

When brewing coffee, it’s best to use water that’s just a tad below boiling point. I personally rely on my Brewista Electric Kettle, which I set to 204 degrees Fahrenheit or around 96 degrees Celsius. This nifty kettle keeps the temperature steady for me. Once the coffee is brewed, I pour it into an 800ml thermal carafe for optimal sipping temperature.

You see, coffee tastes better and becomes a more enjoyable experience when it transitions from scorching hot to warm. It turns out us humans aren’t great at detecting flavors at higher temperatures!
