Why we only sell whole bean coffee.

It’s not that we don’t want to grind coffee. We want you to have the best coffee experience possible.

The best way to do that is by shipping you whole bean coffee.

After roasting, the coffee bean begins to slowly release CO2. They call this degassing. This process keeps oxygen from entering the bean and breaking down all those wonderful flavor compounds. However, when the coffee is ground, it releases all the C02 at once and suddenly there is no protection from the flavor zapping oxygen. Coffee goes stale quickly.

  • Coffee that is ground right before brewing is more flavorful, more fragrant and fresher tasting than ground.
  • Whole bean coffee can remain fresh for weeks instead of days like ground coffee.
  • You can grind it according to the brewing method you prefer.
